Providing support and understanding for students who are in this phase of decision-making, calls for urgent attention through school planning and policy. At Heritage, every student who is admitted to Grade 11, will get an opportunity to sit with our Vice-Principal and Career Counsellor to finalize their subject choice.
Career choice for teenagers can be daunting in a global context that is increasingly dynamic. Choosing the right subjects is only the first step to getting into University. The subjects that you select on entry into Grade 11 must link to the field of study in which you are interested as a future career.
The school provides choice for Science, Commerce & Humanities in Grade 11.The subject combinations are given below. In each group, subjects 1, 2, 3, & 4 are compulsory and students can choose any one subject from subject 5.

To know more about what options you have after Year 12 and which college/course /place is the best fit for you, kindly meet our Career Counsellor at GEMS Heritage Indian School. We also partner with the Institute of Career Studies ICS, Lucknow for aptitude testing followed by one-to-one counselling.
